Midway between Napa on the south and Calistoga on the north, St. Helena is the beating heart of Napa Valley – truly the valley’s ‘main street’. Boasting acclaimed dining prospects too numerous to name, including The Charter Oak and Press, St. Helena is a gastronomic paradise.

Formerly Christian Brothers Winery, the beautiful stone edifice of The Culinary Institute of America (photo above) sits prominently on Main Street at the edge of town, offering amazing culinary education and the famous Wine Spectator at Greystone Restaurant. Wineries in this area range from powerhouse players like Sutter Home and Louis Martini, to small artisanal wineries such as Spottswoode, Vineyard 29 and LOKOYA.
